- Rain poncho
Wet rides are lots of fun but if you’re also taking photos in the park, or don’t want to walk around in wet clothes, then you might want to pack lightweight rain ponchos in your bag like these ones. - Device charger
You’ll need to reach for your phone often, especially if you use it as a camera. - Disney mobile app
You might hate filling up your phone with unnecessary apps, but this is one you’ll use a lot. Taking up exactly no room or weight in your backpack, but essential nonetheless, be sure to download the Disney mobile app in plenty of time for your trip. It’s essential for keeping up with key information, from reservations to wait times to park maps. Find details of how to download it here. - Blister band aids
The number one rule of Disney parks is to wear comfy shoes, but if you still get blisters, you’ll be glad you packed some of these blister band-aids in your bag.For blister prevention, try these.
- Sun protection
Protection from the sun is super important while walking around the parks, which means high-factor sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and something to cover up with if you need it. Our favorite sun protection to take out for a day at Disney by far is a continuous spray like this one as it’s really easy to top up frequently during the day. It’s also less messy to apply and way lighter to carry than a bottle of traditional thick suncream. Plus, a sport variety is less likely to rub off in the humidity or when moving around a lot. The only drawback is that you do have to be careful to see that it’s applied everywhere because it’s an invisible spray and sometimes hard to see what areas you’ve covered. Make sure you also take a sunscreen lip balm like this one so your lips don’t dry out from air conditioning.
