    When you aren’t tied to having a particular sized house with a checklist of requirements, you have so many more options of where you want to live. Having a smaller place means we get to be in the heart of the city with amazing activities on the right of our doorstep. It’s so much better than facing an expensive, soul-sucking commute into the office every day to pay for a house that we’d never have time to enjoy.

People are often surprised when say I don’t have plans to move from my tiny apartment, “When will you get somewhere bigger?”, they ask.

Although it can sometimes be frustrating, and I have to admit that it’s not for everyone, small space living is most definitely on the increase for a lot of people.

Anytime I get tired of our tiny apartment, I make sure to remind myself of all the benefits, from lower costs to less maintenance. – Contrary to popular opinion, it’s not always a hardship, but something that can give you a lot of freedom as well.
